Why tin packaging?
Frankly I was debating between plastic or paper tubes for greater ease of application. Plastic is a direct no no. Paper tubes are more environmentally friendly but it still can't be recycled after use as it will be soiled. These pretty tins however can be washed out after use and be reused as containers for small items like earrings, rings, keys, necklaces etc. These tins look so pretty on any dresser top!
Ingredients:
Coconut Oil: Anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory. Great for hydrating skin too!
Shea Butter: This needs no introduction. One of the most skin loving oils. It is rich in vitamin, moisturises dry and peeling skin and softens it.
Organic Arrowroot Powder: This is a starch obtained from the rootstock of tropical plants/tubers. Used in deodorants, it reduces odours, moisturises the skin and helps to eliminate toxins.
Baking Soda: This alkaline ingredient is both antibacterial and anti-inflammatory.
Beeswax: Beeswax can create a protective layer on the skin. It’s also a humectant, which means that it attracts water. Both of these qualities can help keep the skin hydrated.
Lavender Essential Oil: Lavender soothes and calms your soul. This deodorant balm is very subtly scented so as not to overpower the perfume you are wearing (if you do). It is added enough just to give that nice sniff upon application. Great for users who do not like heavily scented skincare products.
