Would you bother?
Nothing to do with soap. Just wanna share how I reuse a small poly mailer which was too small for anything else except to hold waste liquid. Carefully poured it in and tied the bag with random string bnefore throwing it down the chute.
It takes effort but well...I gave it a 2nd life. I'm super busy with life. I'm not bored with nothing better to do. However, sometimes, I like to spend a bit of time to do 'inconvenient' things just to force myself to slow things down. It feels good to know that I am also doing something to slow down climate change.
Would you bother too? Or would you choose convenience at all times? Why are we so busy till we don't have time to cook a proper meal and will always readily opt for ready to eat packaged meals or order food delivery? We can't even find time to pour detergent into washing machine that's why detergent pods are invented? Nobody needs to go shopping at physical stores anymore as almost every item can be bought online. Did all these conveniences actually make my life easier? I would say no. Cos I will end up trying to do more of other things. It's a vicious cycle. What's worse is that all these convenient choices contribute to alot of unnecessary waste e.g. disposables, packaging and carbon footprint.
Convenience is good but it should not come at the expense of the environment. There should a balance somewhere.
